March 19-23: Primary (Grade K-2)—Fairy Tale Science $199/Child

Explore the wonderful world of science with your favorite fairy tales!  Campers will enter the pages of some of these timeless stories, bringing the beloved tales to life with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Design and build towers and pulleys with Rapunzel, grow a beanstalk, learn about and visit with our frog friends (Prince Charming not included), build a bridge for the Three Billy Goats Gruff, engineer the strongest
house for the Three Little Pigs, and more during this magical week of STEAM activities!

March 19-23: Intermediate (Grade 3-7)—Kitchen Science 2.0) $199/child

Ever been told not to play with your food? Join us as we revisit Kitchen Science, returning due to popular demand! Don’t just play with your food, but experiment with it, learn about it, and maybe even eat some of it too! Cooking is made up entirely of scientific concepts, and we’ll be spending this week uncovering the science involved in food, recipe building, cooking, and baking, and doing cool experiments using things you’d find at home. Learn some basic food preparation and cooking skills, and put ingredients together to create something new, Chopped-style! Who needs a science lab when you have your own kitchen?

March 26-29:  Primary (Grade K-2) or Intermediate (Grade 3-7)—Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $159/Child

You don’t have to be a wizard to see and learn about the incredible creatures that inhabit our planet. Your child will spend the week getting close to some of the fantastic beasts in our very own science centre, and learning about all the amazing and strange animals on Earth. From insects that resemble walking sticks to angler fish to tardigrades, we’ll be exploring animal adaptation, camouflage, and weird animal abilities, as well as comparing mythical animals like unicorns, dragons, griffins, and other beasts of fantasy with their “real life” counterparts. We may even create some mythical creatures of our own!
