Explorations Gallery

Upstairs is our Explorations Gallery which can be described as all things living, or have lived. This gallery has over 30 species of critters, including snakes, turtles, a rosy haired tarantula and a wide variety of lizards. There are also specimens of items not found in this region, including ocean life. There are also samples of fur, antlers and many other items that students can be "hands on" with to experience. There are Discovery Boxes, computer stations and drawers filled with a variety of objects relating to the themes of water, ancient lives, animals, geology, forests, physical sciences and ecology. As well we have a 1000 gallon fish tank with Fraser river white sturgeon. Be prepared though, for some of those critters to come out of their houses!
