The Lheidli T'enneh First Nation has cultural, historic and economic interests in the forest, along with concerns about enhancing opportunities for employment and development. This broad range of interests, combined with information needs due to treaty negotiations, is complex enough that the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation has developed an extensive GIS database of their own.
