Growing a community takes Time

In the 1920s several new organizations were formed to help children. They included the Women's Institute and Junior Women's Institute, the Hospital Auxiliary, a hot soup and cocoa program for kids, the Little Mothers League (where grade 7 and 8 girls were taught how to care for infants), and church youth groups (the Anglican Young Peoples Association, and Knox United Young Peoples).
