Homeschooler Monday

Date: Oct 20, 2014 10:00:00

Join our education staff for an hour of self-directed learning in our galleries followed by an hour-long school program, and then we open up our atrium for homeschooled families to eat their lunches and visit.

We recognize that homeschooled families often have children of a variety of ages, so each Homeschooler Monday we will offer a primary program for ages 5-8, and an intermediate program for ages 9-12 simultaneously. Due to lack of interest, as well as staff and funding cutbacks, we no longer offer preschool programs in association with Homeschooler Monday.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to families.

We ask that parents of multi-child families attend the program with their youngest child.  An adult must accompany children attending the preschool program.

Registration is completed on a first come-first served basis.  Registration may be completed the morning of the program, but we strongly suggest pre-registering, as we cannot guarantee that there will still be space in the programs.  Registration is limited to 24 children in the primary programs, and 30 in the intermediate programs.

Fees are $4/child for members and $5/child for non-members.  There is no charge for parent/guardian chaperones attending the programs with their children or for younger siblings in attendance who are too young for the programs.
