Adult speaker series | October 15th

Terry Fox – Running to the Heart of Canada will be presented at The Exploration Place and provides an in-depth look at Terry’s epic 143 day, 3,339 mile (5,373 kilometres) journey from St. John’s, Newfoundland, to Thunder Bay, Ontario. It explores Canadians’ deep and abiding affection for Terry and examines his unique place in our collective memory.

We are pleased to invite you to join us for this special free exhibit opening event in conjunction with our monthly Adult Speaker Series, which engages members of our community with subject matter experts. Speakers for this event will include Darrell Fox from the Terry Fox Centre (and Terry's brother), and Dr. Nadine Caron, Academic Physician and Surgical Oncologist from the Northern Medical Program at UNBC.

Doors open at 5:30pm

Speakers will begin promptly at 6pm
