Adult Speaker Series

Introducing Seth Shelley for our February Adult Speaker Series:
Challenging the Narratives Surrounding Sexual Abuse

Seth Shelley takes audiences on an emotional, at times difficult, but powerful healing journey. A gifted and articulate speaker, he boldly shares the story of his own story of sexual assault and challenges people to open up about their personal stories, good and bad, as a way of bringing restoration and building community.

Seth graduated from Summit Pacific Bible College in 2012 with a BA in Religion, and has served as a pastor in Western Canada for the past 5 years. He spent 5 seasons as a forest firefighter in Alberta, working on ranches, and as a surveyor for the mountain pine beetle project. In these experiences he gained a love for the outdoors and adventure. When he is not working Seth loves to spend time with his wife and 3 children exploring the outdoors, playing hockey, and canoeing.

This event will be held in our atrium and admission is FREE (our galleries will be closed).
Doors open at 6:45pm, lecture begins at 7pm.
