We are pleased to continue our Canada Day tradition in Prince George, celebrating inside and outside our building.  Activities include:

Science Alliance Camps BBQ Fundraiser

All our BBQ sales on Canada Day support our Science Alliance summer camps for kids. Your support helps us encourage discovery, learning and investigation in our hands-on science centre and museum.

NEW Exhibit

A new in house exhibit called Path of the Paddle: Our new exhibit will explore the history of the canoe in our region.

Take a trip back in time to 1911 to experience the life of a South Fort George student!

Explorers Urban Garden Activities

The Explorers Urban Garden will be open.  There will be FREE activities for the kids to enjoy including bubble blowing.


All Aboard the Little Prince Steam Engine!

The Little Prince Steam Engine will be on the rails Canada Day for FREE(weather permitting) from 12pm-5pm!

Free train rides today are thanks Pioneer Rail! 

Ice Cream

The Fort George Railway Scoop Shop will be open to buy your favorite scoop (or two) of locally made ice cream hand crafted by Frozen Paddle.
